For those looking to travel to Vancouver in the coming months, this could represent a great deal. To help fill rooms, StayVancouverHotels is…

I always wanted to take advantage of this promotion but never have. I'm wondering does Vancouver have a mandatory 14 day quarantine in effect right now?

@M British Columbia or Vancouver doesn't have any quarantine requirements, however anyone entering Canada is required by the federal government to quarantine for 14 days (keep in mind Canada still has very strict rules for who can enter).

Yes Vancouver is one of the best cities to visit in NA, fall is especially beautiful, however honestly unless you're very near who is going to fly and stay? We are in the second round of this infection with winter approaching not sure how good an idea this is or any long haul travel is. Certainly Europe is out for the most part that I will miss for Christmas jaunt across the pond for. I think like many coming from 140K +- miles annually for business and pleasure to not having been on a plane since February I am beginning to getting use to being home don't misunderstand as soon as there is a vaccine in the wild and reasonable time has passed we will be on either EK or BA long haul.

I'm from Vancouver. I've done this promo (as well as Stay Richmond) many times. No problem adding my loyalty program account after booking, since the backend of their site books direct. Always get my EQN, benefits, etc with both Marriott and Hyatt.

The rates on this promo usually cause the benefit to be negligible or negative on most bookings. At least Americans are spared the phony promo this year

You probably should have qualified this offer, “for Canadians only,” as most of us, at least US citizens anyway, can’t travel into Canada until at least 21 November and it’s thought that the border will be closed at least through the end of the year.

So I can book two stays at two different hotels each for 3 nights. I'd get the first night full balance award twice and the subsequent two $50/night twice as well, right?
