When taking paid flights on Delta in those fare classes, would it be possible to credit the miles to a different Sky Team frequent flyer program, such as Flying Blue or Korean Air Skypass, and earn 100% miles? I was wondering the same thing about United.

I was planning on leaving the Delta SM program tomorrow and request a status match for Diamond Medallion to Alaska MVP Gold/75K - whatever they would offer me - but this changes my situation dramatically since I only fly DL/KL/AF internationally mostly on V-fares and would have been very happy with crediting solely to Alaska.
This is a very unpleasant, unexpected surprise at basically year's end and it ruins my Thanksgiving day as well !

Any advise for a situation like mine is much appreciated !

I had enough flying to get Alaska MVP this year. Unfortunately they just cancelled the direct flight I used for work; BLI - LAS (Bellingham WA - Vegas) and I will have to fly allegiant which sucks but I can't sit in Seattle for a few hours just to get some points. Oh well.
