Introduction Aman New Delhi Aman-i-Khas / Safari in Ranthambore National Park Amanbagh / Activities around Amanbagh I know, I need to start by apologizing. I've been meaning to write my India trip report for months now, and it's taking forever to come together. So instead of writing one massive 40 installment report, I've decided to…

interesting read. Personally I want to go to Amanpulo more than any place in the world. Maybe one day I can get there. My wife is Filipino so I am thinking on one of our trips to visit her parents we can take a 5 day hop over there. Check it out. It looks fantastic!

I have to admit that I wasn't all that familiar with Aman Resorts before you made this post, but they look absolutely fabulous. I am more than tempted to try and visit every one of their properties around the world - a fun and expensive new hobby?!?

Please post your trip report of the three properties in India ASAP. In the meantime, I'll be drooling over your preview photos.

Take care!

@stef: Go to FlyerTalk, Luxury Hotel Forum, and search "Amanjunkie".

Expensive? Yes.

Incredible and worth every penny? Yes.

Right, I stayed at the Amanpuri last year. While Park Hyatt is great, comparing Aman resorts to the luxury brands of the major chains is like calling Jeremy Lin the Knicks version of Steve Nash. 😉

I was fortunate enough to vist Amanyara (Turks and Caicos) in December. It was truly amazing. Interestingly the only way to the resort was to travel down a long rugged dirt road as well. I wonder if that is by design.

I told you any Aman Hotel in fact some of my clients won't go to a destination unless there is one. Their Bhutan, East Bali and Bejing are just awesome, Luxe. I also told you most of the worlds great hotels don't do loyalty programs, the don't have too. Emirate resorts are on par as well but at this stage 5 or 6 only but 2 new ones this year. Can't tell you or they will kill me. I have even told you about airline lounges above first class but you haven't taken the hint!!!!

What an amazing write up on part of your trip. I especially like Amanbagh, it seems like such a serene location. The architecture is beautiful and the way you explain it as an "oasis" Is exactly how I see it in the picture you took. Great article, I look forward to reading more about your travels.
