Flew NCE to FCO today with a full meal in J on a 50 minute flight. AA can’t even offer meals in F on 3 hour flights. Goldfish crackers does not elevate the experience.
I like Goldfish and Tate's cookies. Better than Biscoff, the Official Cookie of Hell, and, dare I say it, stroopwaffles. Tip of the cap to AA.
I don't understand the obsession with Tate's. They're awful - who likes dry, hard chocolate chip cookies?

The afternoon snack on PSA Seattle to SFO was a box with a turkey sandwich, condiments, a bag of chips and a packaged cookie.

I know I'm weird but I actually really like the pretzels they currently have. It's a great accompaniment to any drink in the afternoon/evening. Wish they'd keep that option.
An improvement but still no gluten free options being offered unlike United and JetBlue which both offer at least 1 if not more gluten free options for their complimentary snack in economy. Some of us have food allergies and even the Admirals Club lounges rarely have gluten free options these days.
It's people like you that makes aspects of my job a royal pain. We never worried about allergens until whiners like you came around. Now companies that I audit have to pander to you and I have to check allergen control programs. We shouldn't have to provide you with special food just because of your tummy aches. As for the allergy, maybe the universe and Darwin are sending you a message.

Why doesn’t AA hire a nutritionist for all of a month if they claim they want to get it right? Sounds more like the customer experience VP asked her 6-year old what the snack offering should be.
This is still AA. Sugary snacks are cheap. The nutritionally healthy versions cost a lot more.

Having more appealing options for a snack if you otherwise didn't bring food with you is an improvement.
Emphasis on OPTION - no one is forcing anyone to eat these snacks. People need to take responsibility for their own health and eating decisions.
If they had healthy, fresh snack options (which they wouldn't from a cost perspective), I can almost guarantee that would be the lowest popularity selection and the food waste (assuming perishable) would be significant.
Actually afternoon flights people will have 3 options; goldfish, cookies, or savory snack mixes and morning flights people will get goldfish or biscoff
One of the united options is vegan, peanut free and gf. Wonder why AA couldn't be bothered to match
