For quite some time now, Hilton Honors has been offering a bonus to new members who complete eligible activity. The previous offer expired at the end of 2023, and now a new offer has been introduced for 2024. While it’s not quite as lucrative as the old one (the maximum is 3,000 bonus points rather than 4,500 bonus points), it’s still better than nothing.

New members of Hilton Honors can earn up to 3,000 bonus points after two paid stays:

To take advantage of this promotion, members must enroll by December 31, 2024
Members earn 1,000 bonus points after the first stay, and 2,000 additional bonus points after the second stay
Stays must be booked directly with Hilton
Stays must be completed within six months of joining Hilton Honors
Hilton Honors awards don’t qualify toward this promotion
There’s no registration required

Personally I value Hilton points at ~0.5 cents each, so that’s an incremental $15 worth of points after two stays, by my valuation. That’s not life changing, though it’s nice when you consider that it’s on top of normal points earning opportunities.

New Hilton Honors members can earn 3,000 bonus points after completing two stays. This is in addition to the points that can usually be earned. So for those few OMAAT readers who aren’t yet Hilton Honors members, this promotion could be worth taking advantage of.
