I figured I’d get an extra nice birthday gift from one of my best friends, United Airlines. Maybe a 777, or hell, I’d settle for Global Services, a million miles, or even a couple of systemwide upgrades or a few electronic certificates. 😉
But no, instead I get coal! For the first time ever I received the following message for a flight I’m taking on Thursday:
Seriously? What am I missing here? Since when does United “deny” upgrades, even if the cabin is totally full and I have a snowball’s chance in hell of clearing?
Although given the revenue I send their way, I guess I kind of deserve that… 😀
