Targeted Amex Platinum 100K Offer Through CardMatch Tool

In the interest of full disclosure, One Mile At A Time earns a referral bonus for anyone that’s approved through some of the below links. These are the best publicly available offers that we have found for each card. Opinions expressed here are the author's alone, not those of the bank, credit card issuer, airlines or hotel chain, and have not been reviewed, approved or otherwise endorsed by any of these entities. Please check out my advertiser policy for further details about our partners, including American Express, Capital One, Chase, and Citi, and thanks for your support!

The CardMatch Tool, which is offered by, often gives people access to bigger targeted card welcome bonuses. In order to use the tool you have to enter your name, address, and last four of your social security number, and based on that, it may make certain non-publicly available bonuses available to you.

A few weeks ago I wrote about how there was a targeted 100K welcome bonus on the Amex Platinum Card through the CardMatch Tool. The Points Guy reports that this offer is still around, for 100K points after spending $5,000 within three months. After entering your info through this link, you might have to click on either “Pre-Qualified” or “CardMatch Special Offers” on the left side of the page to find this offer.

This is significantly better than the current publicly available bonus of 60K Membership Rewards points.

Again, this is targeted, so not everyone will be eligible. However, in general it makes sense to check the CardMatch Tool periodically to see if you’re targeted for any offers. Hopefully some of you are eligible for this 100K Amex Platinum Card offer and can take advantage of this.

The Amex Platinum Card is one of my all around favorite credit cards, and comes with so many awesome benefits, including:

Get free spa treatments at the Amex Centurion Lounge with your Amex Platinum Card

If you are targeted for this offer, then I highly recommend taking advantage of this deal.

Were you targeted for an Amex Platinum Card 100K offer through the CardMatch Tool?

  1. Is anyone having problems with getting this tool to work? Last month when the article about this offer was posted, I was able to get a few targeted offers but today the card match tool says there isn’t a credit profile. I didn’t move so I’m not sure what’s going on.

  2. According to this link the offer is dead. I’ve got an 800+ credit score and travel 100k miles a year and the best I could get was the Gold 50k.
I’m sticking with the Sapphire Reserve for now.

  3. Platinum 100k showed at the top of the page for me, applied and approved. Initially tried logging in to amex and it said “sorry that offer is no longer valid” (or something to that effect). Tried again without logging in and was approved.

  4. It is so disappointing these days… with all major banks restricting their approval policies, all airlines tightening their award space availability. There is not much to write about. I found all 5 last articles on this blog on other blogs and they were published earlier there! Lucky copies them and adds his thoughts for us but not really much value. The only true differentiator here is an interesting flight review style. Everything else is just copy/paste.

  5. But if you’ve had the Platinum Card in the past and find and offer on this site, what then? Can you still get it?

  6. @ckm:

I got the same response. But I also froze my credit after the latest round of breaches, which may account for the lack of credit information.

  7. Thanks for your reply. I don’t think it’s that. I froze my credit at TransUnion (which is used by the card match tool) in October and used the tool in November when lucky first posted about this 100,000 offer and it worked for me then. Weird.

  8. Got th 100k offer but my husband didn’t. Make roughly the same amount. Credit profiles are similar. Both have platinum delta cards and are not new to Amex.. not sure of their reason for targeting one of us and not the other.

  9. I just cancelled my Amex platinum. Decided I only need one premium credit card so it’s the chase sapphire reserve for me.

If I’m ever offered 100000 points to sign up again I’ll gladly do it.

  10. I don’t see “Pre-Qualified” or “CardMatch Special Offers” on the left side of the page to find this offer. Can you please do step-by-step with photos for us to see where to click!

    Thank you 🙂

  11. If a family member has access to this targeted 100k offer, would I be able to apply for it myself using their link? In other words, is access to the 100k online application enough or do they end up tracing it to the prequalified name in order to approve the higher bonus?

  12. will these offers work if you’ve had the card before? I got such an offer (only 50k though) when logging into my amex account and it made no such mention of not getting bonus like you usually see when applying as normal
