I make custom high end socks It seems like premium airlines might be good customers for me. as most airlines give away socks or slippers as part of the gift pack to elite flyers.
I would appreciate if folks could describe the socks they have received on various airlines. Did you appreciate them? Are they comfortable? Would you have paid for these socks in a store? Would you mind if your free socks had an airline logo, or would you see that as tacky?
Thank you for your help. I hope your response will be rewarded in time with footwear that is comfortable during and after your flight.

Hi @Sockman – the socks the airlines give out are quasi-compression socks and on some airlines the feet have little rubberized bits on the soles. That’s especially true on airlines where they don’t give out slippers. The only time I’ve kept mine is if I never wore them and I just forgot they were in the amenity kit. They’re not something I’d ever wear anywhere else as the quality is just not that high. I’d be afraid they’d come apart in the washing machine.

There may be an airline giving out high quality socks but it’s not one that I’ve flown.
