What happened to Porter’s “lounge” at EWR?

NYCandTO New MemberHi – Porter’s “lounge” at Newark airport – more of a seating area with coffee and water – has been emptied out. Everything’s gone.
Haven’t heard anything about it. Does anyone know when/why it happened?
Arrived for my 8:55am flight to Toronto today, and had looked forward to caffeinating. The only other option is a $3 coffee from tiny concession nearby.

They eliminated their free coffee and snacks in YTZ as well after the airport authority introduced more restaurants and duty free shopping, so maybe they removed the offerings from their outstations to streamline their product offerings
