Using Asiana Miles for UA

Using Asiana Miles for UA

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hey guys,

I want to book a flight for my 3 older children to fly across the Atlantic in business.
I was thinking about purchasing SPG points with the current bonus (for 0.02275 cents a mile), then transferring those to Asiana Club, for redemption in Business for 40k across the Atlantic. If I see Business everyday availability on United on the 777-300er to Frankfurt, can i book those seats on Asiana? If so, how much will the taxes and fees add up to? On United.com its around 5.60. Another fear is that by the time I purchase and transfer miles to Asiana, the availability may be gone. Anyone have any experience doing this? Any advice? I don’t want to have to spend a ton on fuel surcharged by flying them on LH or LX.
    Thanks!
