“Upgrade” AA J award to F

“Upgrade” AA J award to F

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hi everyone!

My Fiancee and I are on an AA 77W MIA-EZE in May on 2x saver J tickets. I was wondering if AA makes it relatively straightforward to upgrade to F class, considering that the F class cabin is completely open.

Do they have to release saver F inventory for us to change or can we somehow use miles to upgrade the ticket?

    Thanks!!

There has to be saver F award space for you to upgrade. once you verify that there is, call AAdvantage and they can take care of the upgrade for you. You have to have enough miles to cover the F award for 2 pax and they miles have to be from the same account where the original award was booked. There may also be a minimal change in taxes and fees.
