Those valuable morning Heathrow slots…

Those valuable morning Heathrow slots…

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hey, peeps.

Something struck me earlier today. Airports with slot requirements usually demand that airlines use them at least 70% of the time, or something to that effect, right? Well, if Qantas aren’t planning to restart international flights until July 2021, what’s going to happen to their *very valuable* morning arrival slots?

This question may be extended to US airlines, or BA/VS flights operating to the US. They all hold very lucrative, and very pricey slots. But will leasing it to other airlines be desirable, when everyone’s reducing capacity given the current situation?

Does anyone maybe have insider knowledge?
