Taking Advantage of SPG to AA promotion ending 15 June

    hi tiffany
what do you think is a nice number to transfer for “F” or “J” round trip on Partner Airlines?
Your colleagues have gotten me incredible bargain rights on Etihad, JAL and my Fav: “F” Qantas Sydney-LHR for US$20 !?!
is it better to transfer in 20,000 SPG increments to get 31,250 AA points ?
are 200,000 – 220,000 AA points a nice number to have for Europe to Asia Region 1 or Australia ?

Duane, just keep in mind that you can only transfer a max of 79,999 SPG points to an airline in a 24-hour period. So to max out your bonus you don’t want to transfer more than 60K points per day, which would result in 75K AA miles. So if you wan to end up with that many AA miles you’ll need to plan accordingly.
