SYD-LAX/SFO/JFK/DFW vs. MEL-LAX

SYD-LAX/SFO/JFK/DFW vs. MEL-LAX

    Hi Lucky (all),

I’ve booked 2 SQ suites JFK through to SYD, now looking for a return to the US, preferably using AA.

If my knowledge serves, I can book economy MileSAAver and upgrade later if the space ever becomes available(?).

I’m curious if you have any advice on which QF flights to the US are more likely to show upgrade availability over time? Or perhaps none are ever likely.

None are ever likely, sadly. Melbourne might be a bit better, but it’s unlikely.
