Southwest Companion Pass

Southwest Companion Pass

  1. Anonymous Guest

Might be a dumb question but here is a senario. You spend the $2000 plus more on both Southwest cards for a vacation and get the 110,000 points for the companion pass. Unfortunately, before the vacation, you have to cancel it and get the money credited back to your Southwest card. Will you now not be eligible for the pass since you were credited back the money and never really spent the $2000 in 3 months?

Yep, certainly possible that the points would be clawed back, and you’d thus lose the companion pass benefit. Best to overspend if that’s a consideration, I think.
