Question 1405

Question 1405

  1. Anonymous

    Hi Ben,

I’m currently booked in F on EY19 this June, and the sole purpose of this award booking is try out the Apartment. I also recall from your previous article on EY’s A380 routes that EY19 would be the third route they run, starting on May 1st. However, I came across a thread on FT stating that their May booking on EY19 was switched from a 388 to a 77W. When I made the original booking, I picked EY19 because there was no Guest First space on EY11 (there is now, though). Plus, I figured it’d be nice to experience the giant whale in the daytime, since this is my first A380 flight. I recognize that the flight is still a few months away, but in the interest of flying the 388, should I try switching to EY11 given that there’s Guest First space now? Is that even possible since I booked through AA and have already been ticketed? Or am I just overreacting and should just leave things as they are?

    Thanks for you input!

@ Francois — If you can easily switch to the A380 I absolutely would. You don’t want to miss the A380. There would be no fee for doing so. Enjoy the trip!
