Lucky, I made a mistake and booked my Mom a USairways award ticket using her miles that she didn’t want (miscommunication on my part). I had thought that she had 24 hours to cancel it but I was wrong again. USairways wants $150 to redeposit the miles and she didn’t want to pay it so they said she has 1 year to reuse the award. What are the rules for this? If she wants to use these miles in the future will she still have to pay the $150?
@ Buddy M. — When she goes to rebook she’ll still have to pay the $150 fee. That fee applies for any change or cancellation.
