QR Lounge access transiting Doha from First to Business
Hi, I have an award ticket on Qatar Airways from Cairo to Doha to SFO. The Cairo to Doha leg is coded as First and the Doha to SFO leg is Business. Would I be able to use the Al Safwa first class lounge since my arriving flight is in First Class? Or will I only be able to access the Al Mourjan business class lounge because my departing flight is in business class? Thanks!

I believe Al Safwa doesn’t follow normal OneWorld lounge rules and you need a same-day departure ticket in ticketed First… not necessarily connecting from First to Business.
Depending on how long your layover is, it could still be worth it to pay the cash upgrade.
FYI though, not sure when your flight is, but Al Safwa Lounge is currently closed.
