    Was anyone else unlucky enough to be booked into the Westin LAX on June 11.

    I arrived at 8. 30pm after a very long trip to be told that nothing was available as the rooms were not yet serviced. From what I could gather every person arriving ( including aircrew) was told the same.

    I finally got a key to a room just before 1am. The front desk people handled it as best they could and are to be commended for keeping calm despite some very irate guests and the obscenities leveled at them.

    My lifetime titanium was of course completely useless.

    I was comped for the first night of my stay and am grateful for that but I cant help but feel that I should receive more. Am I being greedy or if I ask for more what should it be?

    Depending on what you did to occupy yourself from 8:30 until 1am, I could maybe see you successfully argue a case for extra compensation for the trouble. For instance, you were supposed to meet a coworker or client for drinks that evening, and you couldn’t shower/prepare.

    But, it already sounds like the hotel did everything possible, and already comped you the one night. I’m not sure what else they could reasonably do?
