On reading you we’re eligible for Bonvoy platinum to obtain United silver on rewards plus in originally looking in jan and thought I would do it later I find today you have to be titanium status. No travel sights warned us about this pending change. The Bonvoy loyalty reps have no idea when contacted what I am talking about. I wanted to status match for mvp to Alaska. I live in Australia. Thanking you and the community. -

Yes, unfortunately that is correct. The “old” platinum status that earned United Silver status is now equivalent to Titanium in the Bonvoy program
