KLM/AF Award Cancel Fee vs Delta

KLM/AF Award Cancel Fee vs Delta

  1. JaredK New Member

Since KLM/AFs award cancellation fee is €45 (which is lower than Delta’s fee at $150), if the miles needed to book an award in either program are same/similar, is there any reason not to use KLM/AF to book the award (assuming it is available)? Then, if you have to change the award or cancel it, you’d only be out ~$50 in fees instead of $150? Thanks!
