Kevin M New MemberI try to take advantage of IHG Accelerate promotions whenever possible because they can be really lucrative. In the past though, it takes FOREVER to get the tasks to register as complete and the bonus points to post. It often takes contacting IHG support as well.
I just purchased some IHG points to take advantage of the 100% bonus and because points purchase is one of the tasks in my current Accelerate promotion. In the same transaction as the points purchase, the 1,000 accelerate bonus posted immediately (actually combined with the 100% bonus) and the accelerate task was marked as complete.
I don’t know if other stay-related bonuses will register as quickly but hopefully this is a positive trend. Anybody else notice speedy Accelerate credits?
