Hotels in Dubai

Hotels in Dubai

  1. Anonymous Guest

Hi, we are going to Maldives in April next year and on the way back, we have a stopover in Dubai for 5 days. Hotels in Dubai are quite stretched apart, which area would be better to stay in? Also are 5 days enough?

What are you hoping to do/see in Dubai? 5 days should be plenty

5 days should be plenty, you could even throw in a day trip down to Abu Dhabi, or stay a night there. The Sheik Zayed Grand Mosque is an incredible sight.

Things are spread out, but you’re probably going to get between places via taxi anyway, since public transportation is somewhat limited.

Five days in Dubai is way more than enough imo. I found one day plenty for sight seeing and was not really interested in shopping of which there is plenty. I would agree with a day trip to Abu Dhabi and perhaps Sharjah. If you want beach, you would probably want the Palm area which is quite far south. I stayed at the Address Downtown and liked it. It does have access to the light rail system which was convenient for a trip to see old Dubai.
