Economy plus on business award

Economy plus on business award

  1. Anonymous Guest

I booked my wife and kids on a business award from Chicago to Sydney last month but find it strange that they aren’t entitled to economy plus for the Chicago to lax leg. Has anyone had any experience with this?? Thanks for the help!!

Is it all on one ticket? Normally international business class gets you domestic first class.

If you booked an economy saver segment, you don’t get premium seating unless you have elite status, unfortunately. You’ll get an increased baggage allowance on the entire ticket, but that’s it.

Assuming it’s a single award, keep checking for first class space on ORD-LAX. Like @MidSouth Skier says, youre entitled to domestic first if youre on a single business class award – there just has to be award space on that leg.
