Earning AA miles and EQMs on Hawaiian
I have been looking everywhere and have not been able to come up with a conclusive answer. I am planning a trip from JFK-HNL in January and want to know if I will earn AA credit. I’m looking at business class and both Delta and Hawaiian have similar pricing. Delta has lie flat seats, while Hawaiian has not yet implemented lie flats onto this route. I’d love an early start at AA status and would be willing to book the Hawaiian flight but am nervous that opting out of the lie flat will get me nothing.
Below is pasted from AA.com and I am assuming this means that flights form the mainland to Hawaii will earn nothing. Can anyone confirm?
