dreamliner
getting on to 70 years old and really would like to fly the dreamliner in biz class, ive asked a# of travel agents to no avail, who flys it to paris from either dtw, jfk, ewr, boston or chicago, im in dayton ohio! any help? thx larry j
Hey Larry, after a quick glance at Google Flights, I think that there are no direct flights operated by the 787 from the destinations you chose. However I did see some, where there were connections in Europe (e.g. JFK-LHR-CDG) with Virgin Atlantic and BA, and where the transatlantic flight was on the VS 787.
Hope this helps 🙂
Not many airlines are using the 787 to fly between North America and Paris. Here are some alternatives, with flights currently being operated:
American: Chicago-Manchester until 10/15/16
Air Canada: Toronto-London
British Airways: London-Newark, Montreal, Calgary, Philadelphia, Houston, San Jose
KLM: Amsterdam-Toronto
United: Houston-London
Virgin Atlantic: London-LA, Miami, Newark, San Francisco, New York JFK until 10/29/16
AeroMexico: Mexico City-Paris
Future Routes:
AC: YYZ-CDG, YYC-LHR
BA: LHR-BOS/BWI/AUS
KL: AMS-JFK/YYC
UA: SFO/LAX-LHR
Norwegian also has many London/Paris-US routes but theyre a low cost carrier.
If you really need to fly to Paris, then your best bet is a connection in London. Personally, if you can wait for it, I’d recommend Air Canada Toronto to Paris, when it begins on October 30th, 2016. Lucky had a great time on there when he flew Toronto to Frankfurt. http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2016/05/31/air-canada-business-class-787-review/
