Been checking for months & finally saw one seat for first class open up for my flight next wk on Cathay on both BA & JAL sites. Was worried Alaska wouldn’t have access to it when it’s only one seat, like I’ve read on this blog, but Alaska agent saw it right away & was able to upgrade me from biz. Even waived the change fee. Can’t wait to get to try Cathay F for a long haul flight and Suites class on the way back! Is it weird I’m more excited about the flights than the destinations? Thanks Ben & Tiffany!
