I arrive at heathrow T3 on 24 December 9:20 am from USA and need to go to T5 at heathrow to catch a 11:15 am flight to India . I am told to take a flight connections bus from t3 to t5 which leaves every 6 to ten minutes . when I arrive at T5 I am supposed to go through security. Can someone tell me if I can buy the Fast track security pass and use it on this security which I assume is on airside(not on UK soil technically) when I transferred from t3 to t5 . Reason I am asking is because on Dec 24 I assume there will be a lot of people although not sure since I am on the airside and I have so little time to catch my next flight

Yes, you will reclear security in T5. But, it is very quick and efficient, in my opinion. I’ve done it both in economy and business (fast track) and never taken more than 45 minutes til I was at my next gate…

Agree 100%. Security is not an issue, IMO. On the other hand, immigration at LHR (without Fast Track) is a pain. It’s worth paying for Fast Track (if you can) to speed up immigration / customs.
