Ben, Tiffany or any savvy reader,

This is in regards Ben’s post from earlier today …
http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2015/10/27/cathay-pacific-last-minute-awards/

I’m booked to leave for HKG on AA F on Thurs 29 Oct from DFW, …But I can easily leave tomorrow afternoon as well if it is going to be on CX in F from NYC.

My question is — and I suspect this is rudimentary knowledge to some of you — I have a boatload of AAdvantage points but 0 Avios. I see the award space on BA’s site for 140K Avios points but not in AA’s site for 62.5K AA points.

Obviously, I want to book it on AAdvantage points for 62.5K. …Please point me in the right direction as to how to do this.

Thanks

Z

@Tiffany, Thank you!! I figured I’d call AA right after posting the question here. Funny thing is, for one reason or another, it wouldn’t be so simple!
