Out of curiosity, if I transfer credit card points to an airline mileage program for a business class flight, will I still earn reward miles for that trip?

PhatMiles MemberIf you are booking award tickets, NO.
But if you are using cash-like points such as Citi Prestige used with AA/Wells Fargo Propel points/Barclays Arrival + etc. then you are actually buying revenue tickets and that earn you mileage credit.
