Changing Flights

Changing Flights

Lucky … i have a round trip economy from LAX to BOM on Emirates via Dubai. I need to change the flight date and class due to the injury! Should I just let go of the return ticket and find me a one way business class back or is there a better way? I am thinking Emirate will charge me a cancellation of $300 plus fair difference at a minimum.

    Thanks in advance!

So you’ve traveled to BOM and have suffered an injury? I’d reach out to EK to find the exact fare rules for your ticket and see if they will allow any exceptions for medical reasons. and go from there.

looks like Emirates has no policy as such … thanks though!

Emirates has no policy for flight changes related to injuries? I find that hard to believe. Have you called EK to ask about it? You will probably need a note from your doctor that says travel is not recommended.

As for the change in cabin class, that might be harder to work with but see what EK can offer. Ek may waive change fees in either case but they’d charge you the fare difference, whether its another economy ticket or for business class.
