Change FF# on Aeroplan Award

Change FF# on Aeroplan Award

  1. ASUNeal

    Hello,

I am looking to make an Aeroplan award for an United international flight in economy. I don’t have status on Aeroplan but I do on United and I would like to enjoy my elite beneifts such as booking an economy plus seat now, just after booking, instead of waiting for check in or paying for it.

I know of the Finnair trick for OW tickets to switch your frequent flier number on award tickets. But is there a similar way to change the frequent flier number associated with an Aeroplan award to be able to use your elite benefits?

    Thank you, Neal

Welcome @ASUNeal – No trick I’m aware of but you can just call Aeroplan to get your United confirmation number. You could even try your Aeroplan number first – sometimes the numbers carry over but even if they don’t the agents should be able to easily tell you your UA number.
