chance of getting the Polaris hard product on a 772 in March 2019?

chance of getting the Polaris hard product on a 772 in March 2019?

I’m confirmed for a Polaris business seat on a UA flight from LHR to SFO in late March 2019. The aircraft is a 772. While the plane is obviously an old 2-4-2 example, the seat map has shifted in some strange ways since I first booked: the Global First seats are all greyed out now (upgrades now unavailable?), and the greyed out Economy section appears to show a 3-4-3 configuration, with blank placeholders where the 10th seat would be. Does this mean that United is intending this aircraft to be retrofitted by flight time?

@Byron J – welcome. I think there’s something weird going on with UA’s system at the moment. 2 weeks ago I booked ORD-MUC and it was the old 2-4-2 for a work trip. Since I booked so late I could only get a middle seat. This past Friday when I checked in I was delighted to see it had changed to the new 1-2-1. Then 4 hours later I got notified of an equipment change and it was back to 2-4-2. Incidentally Expert Flyer was showing that the F seats were actually listed as J but, of course they were all full. Only good thing about the 2nd equipment change was when they reshuffled the seats I ended up with an aisle.

Weird, indeed…here’s another odd thing: when I view the seat plan in a desktop brower on United’s full site, I see the new 3-4-3 config for Economy. But when I view the seat plan in United’s iOS app, it’s arranged like the 3-4-3 but yet all the F seats for all rows are missing/blank. Polaris business (or really BusinessFirst I should say) is showing as 2-4-2 in both the app and the full desktop experience. I’ll post whatever eventually ends up happening
