Cancelled TAP flight – downgraded from biz to coach

    Booked biz class for TAP from bos to Munich through Lisbon through Aeroplan for feb school break. TAP cancelled the flight 30 minutes after scheduled flight time due to mechanical issues. Chaos ensued and my son and I were fortunate to get TAP to book us coach from bos to London on virgin and then London to Munich on BA. Got in 4-5 hours after the original scheduled time but not big deal as we got there same day and it was redeye travel to Europe.

    Already contacted TAP and no reply. Worth contacting Aeroplan? Any other suggestions?
