Business Class flight to Bali

Business Class flight to Bali

    Hi there,
I’m planning on travelling to South East Asia at the start of June for a couple of months as part of a career break. Ideally I’d like to fly out in a premium cabin and have some mileage with skyteam programme (China Sohthern) and one world (BA) ideally I’d like an open return for flexibility reasons and likely to start in Bali and or Hanoi depending on tour dates. I really need some help and pointers as to how I may secure a decent premium cabin deal for both legs (Return to London) for under £1400? A tall ask I know
🙁 I’m happy to do economy legs within Asia as they are super cheap had journey times seem less than 5 hours. It’s just to and from London and I may want to hit Sydney from Bali as well.
Any help or advice would be great!
    Thanks so much!

Welcome, so you are looking for paid options?

Unfortunately, when booking with cash, the cost of a one-way ticket is typically extremely higher than half of a round-trip booking. So, that makes an open return very difficult.

Do you currently have any mileage with any programs that you could use? The nice thing about most programs is one-way awards are usually a fixed rate.

Considering you would like to use points for your long haul segments and pay for intra Asia flights, I would recommend your first and last destinations in Asia be larger cities.
In my experience its easier to get award flights flying hub to hub. You mentioned wanting to visit Sydney… Why not make that your first stop… I imagine there would be more award availability between LHR-SYD than LHR-DPS. Same goes for your return home.
Coincidentally, I’m booked on a little Austral-Asia tour myself this August.
    My itinerary is as follows:
JFK-LAX (AA Flagship First) Award flight
LAX-SYD (AA Flagship Business) Award flight
    SYD-DPS (Qantas Business) Paid flight
    DPS-SIN (SQ Business) Award flight
    SIN-JFK (SQ First/Suites) Award flight

Pretty much all thanks to OMAAT.
Lucky and Co. really know what they’re talking about!
Follow their advice for earning and redeeming points and you wont go wrong.
    Good luck!!!
Hope I run into you in Bali:)
