Best way to pay taxes?

Best way to pay taxes?

    Hi Lucky et al,

I was wondering what is the best way to pay my large tax bill if I want to maximize my points for flying on Turkish to Africa, through United or Aeroplan. I have the Sapphire plus, Citi Premier, and SPG. I was denied the freedom card, 5/24 rule. I really enjoy your blog!

The Sapphire Plus is probably your best bet for easy transfers to UA. but you’re going to get only 1UR since the spend is unbonused. The SPG is the only card that covers your transaction costs with a point value of ~2.2c but that has an atrocious transfer rate to UA although Aeroplan will work. I think Plastiq has the lowest fees I’ve seen but you should probably compare costs.
