Barclay redeem prior travel spending prior to reaching promotion?

Barclay redeem prior travel spending prior to reaching promotion?

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hello,

Is it possible to redeem travel costs that were spent prior to reaching the actual promotion bonus (70K) of Barclay Arrival Plus World Elite? For example, If I had spent $300 on hotels as part of reaching the $5000 spending to reach the 70k promotion, can I then use the 70K miles towards my $300 hotel purchase?

    Thanks,
    Lee

    Hello,

Can one redeem Barclay miles on travel purchases made prior to reaching the promotion? Ex. If I purchased $300 on hotels on my way to reaching the 5000K spending, can I then use the 70K bonus on the $300 hotel?

    Thanks,
    Lee

Sure! The nice thing about the A+ points is that you’ve got 120 days after the purchase date to accumulate enough miles to offset the travel charge.

You can use the 70k bonus as soon as it hits your account, which is either right after you spend $5k, or after the cycle in which you hit the 5k closes.
