Alaska Day Pass Good At More Than One Location?

Alaska Day Pass Good At More Than One Location?

Headed to Boston in about a month on Alaska. Flying out of LAX with a stop at PDX before going onward to BOS. I figure the chances of getting into the Alaska lounge with my PP at LAX and PDX are slim. Since I will have a few hours at LAX and don’t see killing all of that time at P.F. Changs, I thought about simply putting up $25 to get an Alaska day pass (50% discount with Alaska CC). If I do, does anyone know whether I will also be granted acess to the Alaska PDX lounge that same day with the day pass?

You should be able to use it at more than one lounge:

I connected in PDX recently on an upgraded AS F ticket and there was a sign outside of the AS Lounge saying PP isn’t accepted at the moment because of crowding. However I went in anyway (friend and I weren’t totally sure if upgraded AS F comes with lounge access) and the agent was very nice – she said AS F upgrades aren’t eligible for access but she could take PP. Lounge wasn’t all that crowded but I’m glad I went in to ask about access.

Thanks. I heard some people were having success by asking inside nicely even when the no PP signs were out. I will give it a try. If I get rejected I will try to purchase the day pass. I also heard there was a new PP restaurant in Terminal 6 at LAX. Anyone have any experience with it?

Nope but I did try the whiskey bar and then the restaurant at PDX, both of which were decent. In both cases I left a cash tip. The restaurant staff was particularly nice, encouraging my friend and I to order enough to use the credit. At the end we were close but not quite so the waiter said we could grab a big cookie on our way out, which we did.

@David W Ran into the no PP sign at the Alaska lounge at PDX. They were nice and told me not to go too far. They winked and said the sign comes down frequently. I took it with a grain of salt and decided to try the PP restaurant. You were right. That place is sweet. Ordered one hot sandwich to eat there and one sandwich to go for the plane ride to Boston. Staff were nice and appreciated the cash tip. Finished the hot sandwich, grabbed my to go bag and stumbled over to the Alaska lounge. This time the sign was gone. Luck was smiling upon me, other than the hour delay of my flight. Oh well, the airport Gods giveth and they taketh.
