Airberlin not honour the booked tickets
Dear Sir,
Last month I bought online thru Airberlin official website a business class tickets from Jakarta to Miami via Dusseldorf for summer vacation 2016. Recently I received email from the airlines (almost a month after booked the tickets) that my tickets is not valid due system error. They said is too cheap and want to cancel or downgrade to economy class. We have paid and airlines already issued the tickets. What should I do?
Maybe @Tiffany or @Lucky can chime in but my understanding is that since you are coming to the US, DOT regulations against post purchase changes should apply besides any EU protections. I would reply and say that you booked business class tickets and expect them to be honored and see where the conversation goes.
