I´m planning to go to Southeast Asia in December for three weeks so I read somewhere here that it is better to do it as advance as possible to get space in Cathay flights using AAdvantage miles. I was looking for a NYC – HKG – BKK and return SIN – HKG – NYC.
But I´m having problems because it seems that there is no space.Do you have a recommendation on how to do it or when? The AA website does not show availabilty on Awards on Cathay!

Welcome [USER=1377]@Juan Carlos[/USER] – have you tried looking on BA.com? You’ll need to register for an account, but it’s free. Once you do, be sure to search segment-by-segment (i.e. SIN-HKG and then HKG-NYC) because the BA site will try to route you via London whenever possible.
