AA miles for an Iberia flight

AA miles for an Iberia flight

  1. Anonymous Guest

I am trying to book 4 Iberia business class one way MAD to CHI using AA miles. When I first do a search for my date, the flight shows as available. When I select to book it, it states that the flight is no longer available. I checked BA’s site and it shows that there are 8 seats available for this particular flight using miles. I have enough in my AA account for this flight, but nothing in my BA account. Is there something I can do to book this through AA? Thanks.

Have you tried calling in to see if a phone agent can see the space?

Be sure to check the individual segments as well, there might not actually be 8 seats on both flights (my guess is that there are some phantom space issues here).

Calling is good advice regardless though, as the IB/AA connection hasn’t been working well on the website.
