Anonymous GuestI believe that AA allows free changes to date and time for award tickets – but not for changes to routing. I have a reservation for a ticket EWR-MIA-GRU…if space opens up on the nonstop JFK-GRU does anyone know if AA will let me change to the nonstop for free? I wouldn’t be changing the dates. I know sometimes airlines consider JFK/LGA/EWR the same origin/destination.

Unfortunately, AA doesn’t consider them co-terminals and would charge you a fee.
