AA award chart

Sometimes when I’m searching for AA award tickets a different chart comes up.It’s much more informative than the other chart. Is there a way to get to it or is it luck of the draw?

I believe you are talking about the old monthly view? Use the “multi-city” search option even if only searching between two cities. That should get you there.

Thanks I just tried that and it still came up with the old green and blue box chart.

If you go here: https://www.aa.com/i18n/aadvantage-program/miles/redeem/award-travel/award-travel.jsp and scroll down to click on Find Premium Economy Awards, that always takes me direct to the “new” platform.

I was not aware of the “new” chart that allows you to search by month when using the PE link. It is visually nice, and obviously has PE awards. I still find the “green and blue [and Purple!] box chart the easiest to use for searching J and F, but that’s just familiarity. I’m sure I’ll pick up the new one (functionality looks the same).

I thought the OP meant the format that is the same as the new paid ticket screen – by the week – but for award tickets. That search screen is awful.
