SPG Platinum status from credit card spend.

SPG Platinum status from credit card spend.

  1. Anonymous Guest

I just finished spending 75k on my ritz credit card and got my platinum status.
The email states that my platinum status is valid through February 28 2018.
Shouldn’t the status last at least a full year?
    Thanks

The terms say: “Each account anniversary year you make Net Purchases totaling $75,000 or more you will qualify for Platinum Elite Status through December 31 of the following year. “Account anniversary year” means the year beginning with your account open date through the anniversary of your account open date, and each 12 months after that.” My assumption is that they are updating it for the current year and then when next year rolls over you’ll see it updated to 12/31. I’d put in a reminder to keep an eye on it though.
