Moving Delta Address out of the US
Lucky,
I just moved my address overseas with legit proof of my address and it was accepted. I noticed however with 80,000MQM my status hasn’t updated. When I called to ask I was told it would just take a few days to process (even though my account was updated being out of the country overnight). After calling again after 3 days I was told that they will not update it until hit Diamond at 125,000MQM since I updated my address in the middle of a tier requirement.
Have you heard of this? is it true, or do I just need to be patient.
Thanks!
@TylerC, out of curiosity, what is your status currently showing as?

@Tyler C Don’t have any personal knowledge on this area. Have you tried bouncing it off Rene at Delta Points?
I did give him a shout and he said nothing that he’s ever heard of before but it could be new. I did reach out on FT as well and some have said it takes a few months and others say it wont happen until Jan as the year restarts itself. At that time the system will auto recognize me in a new country and give me the updated status.
So I assume the issue is that you haven’t met the spend waiver yet and because of that may not have Platinum until next year which will deny you benefits for the rest of this year? The only thing I can suggest is trying to dig up Sandeep Dube’s address and writing a polite letter directly to his office.
