Singapore Airlines and Virgin America – Did I get upgraded?
So my family and I booked a flight from Chicago O’Hare Airport to Singapore Changi Airport via San Francisco International Airport on a third party website, on Virgin America and Singapore Airlines, a few months ago. (We specifically booked to try out the San Francisco-Singapore flight on Singapore Airlines.)
Now here’s the thing. I got an email saying that our itenirary has changed, but the flight numbers are the same, the times are the same, and the route is the same. (Thank goodness!)
But the class is no longer showing ‘Y’ on either flight. It’s showing ‘W’ on both flights. Does this mean we got upgraded, and if so, to what class?
Would appreciate an answer soon. Thanks!
W usually indicates premium economy. Have you tried going on the SQ site and selecting Prem Economy seats?
Edit: Looks like SQ uses P,S,T for Prem Y so you’re likely just in economy.
Okay thanks! So I didn’t get upgraded huh? Oh well, that’s okay, a person can dream.
