    Hi Lucky,

I recently became really religious to your blog. So thank you providing all the awesome tips. I am wondering, for AA miles, can you still upgrade from business to first for your inbound flight after you have your outbound flight already (assuming there is a first class spot)? i.e. you fly from ORD-HKG and stay at HKG for a while, and can you still call and upgrade your inbound flight (HKG-ORD) before the flight but after the outbound flight (ORD-HKG)?

@ Wesley C — Thanks for reading! That shouldn’t be a problem at all.
