OMAAT Team,

I just attempted to book a La Premiere award through an AF Silver Member’s Account and was told by the call center that [I]”La Premiere redemptions are only eligible for Gold and Platinum Members”[/I]. I thought this would be a case of “hang up and call another agent”, but before doing so, I did a little research on the Flying Blue website (planning to prove them wrong) that talks about the benefits of each Elite Tier and found the following SHOCKING paragraph on the footnotes:

[INDENT][I]10. On flights operated by KLM and Transavia: all Flying Blue members can book any seat in the plane, subject availability. On flights operated by Air France: all Flying Blue members can book any seat in Economy, Premium Economy and Business, subject to availability; [B]Gold and Platinum members[/B] can use Miles to book seats in La Première, subject to availability.[/I]

Am I one of the first to notice this, or did I miss something? Are Silver Members NO LONGER ELIGIBLE for La Premiere redemptions??? 😮

Seems to be a pretty recent development since I haven’t been able to find ANY information online regarding this change.
