Hi Gaurav. Policies vary by carrier but usually miles need to be claimed within a few months if you want them. It’s probably too late for your past flights but make sure you sign up for programs and credit your miles going forward.

Also (you may already know this) you’ll need separate accounts for each traveler.

    Hello Gaurav and welcome.

I was going to say to if you very going stick around you might want to think of a different name to post under, our most prolific member here on Ask Lucky goes by the name of Gaurav.

But I see that he beat me to it as usual.

Are you a member of any frequent flyer programs? You will need an account with an airline to claim the miles.

Qatar is a member of an alliance called Oneworld so you can claim the miles on one of airline members like British Airways or American Airlines. Qatar’s one program is not the best when it comes to using the miles.

For flights on Emirates claiming the miles with their partner Alaska Airlines are a good option.
