Hi Ben,
I’ve got a trip to New Zealand and Australia coming up next year – May-July – and have booked an economy saver fare with emirates. I wondered if you knew any way I could get enough miles together for an upgrade to business? I’ve got 16,300 skywards miles at the moment which I know is not a lot at all. One of the problems is i’m a full time student so using credit cards to get points is not an option as far as I am aware. Is it possible or should I keep dreaming?

Hi,
I’ve got a trip from Glasgow, UK to New Zealand and Australia coming up with emirates next year from May-July.
I wondered if there was any way for me to get enough miles for a business class upgrade – I’ve got 16,300 skywards miles (not a lot, i know) and am currently travelling on a saver fare.
Any advice, or should I keep dreaming?

(Already posted this question but forgot to put in some of the info above and wasn’t logged in, so thought i’d better repost!)
Also i’m a student, so as far as I know, I cant apply for credit cards to get points.
